Special Quorum Court Agenda Packet- September 2, 2014

MEETING NOTICE

Washington County Judge Marilyn Edwards has called a special meeting of the Washington County Quorum Court for Tuesday, September 2, at 5:00 p.m. to be held in the Washington County Quorum Court Room, County Courthouse, 280 N. College in Fayetteville.

There are two purposes for this meeting are:

(1) Consider the third reading of an appropriation ordinance concerning the Election Commission Budget for 2014. This ordinance was first considered by the Quorum Court on August 21 and then on August 26, and is for funding of additional early voting sites for the November 4 General Election; and,

(2) Consider an ordinance anticipating and appropriating grant revenues to the Juvenile Court Grant Budget in the Law Enforcement Grant Fund. These grant funds became available on August 26 from the Arkansas Department of Health to send Juvenile Court representatives for site visits of other Juvenile Courts in California and Oregon. The travel arrangements need to be booked as soon as possible to stay in the parameters of the grant.
