Arkansas law requires that each county election commissioner attend training coordinated by the State Board of Election Commissioners before the preferential primary election. The 2020 preferential primary election is March 3rd.
The regional training session will be offered on:
October 10, 2019, 10:00 am – Fayetteville
County Sheriff’s Office, 1155 W. Clydesdale Drive
This training session is designed to give commissioners an overview of:
• Legal requirements associated with conducting an election;
• Election law changes enacted during the 2019 legislative sessions;
• Commonly misunderstood procedures;
• Best practices; and
• Other pertinent updates that may have occurred since the last election cycle.
