The Washington County Election Commission will meet on Thursday, January 28th at 9:00 am in Room 115 of the Washington County Courthouse.

The Agenda for the meeting will be:

1. Oath of Office
2. Election of Chairman
3. Approve minutes from the previous meeting
4. Email Addresses
5. Legislative Update
6. Overview of upcoming year
a. Special Elections
i. February 9: Farmington School and City of Prairie Grove
ii. April 13: City of Elkins
iii. May 18: Annual School
iv. Fire District Election
b. Re-Districting
i. Review Maps for new JP Districts in late August and September
ii. 8 total meetings: 2 meetings for the public to view the maps
iii. New Precinct lines, City Wards, and School Zones
iv. County Judge/ Township Lines
c. Known Upcoming meeting dates
i. February 9: Special Election
ii. February 10 or 11: Provisional Ballot Review
iii. February: Certification ( Could meet as early as Feb. 12 or Feb 19)
iv. March 3: Ballot Draw at 9:00 for School Election
v. March 8: Approve Ballots for School Election

Physical Access to the meeting:

If you do not have access to a computer, because of space up to 3 people will be allowed to participate or view the meeting in Room 115 in the Washington County Courthouse.

Seating will be on first come first serve basis and attendees are required to set at least 6 feet apart. Due to safety and health concerns, anyone entering will be subject to having their temperature taken and required to wear a face covering and may be turned away if maximum occupancy has been reached.
