County Services Committee
A G E N D A
1. Call to Order. JP Joe Patterson will call the meeting to order as senior member of the County Services Committee.
2. Introduction of Committee Members. Members of the 2013-14 County Services Committee are: Joe Patterson, Tom Lundstrum, Rex Bailey, John Firmin, Barbara Fitzpatrick, Eva Madison, and Jimmy Mardis.
3. Selection of Chair/Vice Chair.
4. Adoption of Agenda.
5. Review of the Responsibilities of the County Services Committee. The responsibilities of the County Services Committee include review of policies concerning delivery of county services to citizens that do not involve construction or infrastructure needs. Services would include planning issues, recording of deeds, records, issuance of permits and licenses, emergency assistance (9-1-1, rural fire protection), information technology, and animal control.
6. Establishment of Regular Meeting Time. The County Service Committee meeting today is the Monday, 17 days prior to the regular Quorum Court meeting, at 5:30 p.m. in the Quorum Court Room.
7. Overview of the Washington County Planning Office and Monthly Update – Juliet Richey, Planning Director.
8. Report on Community Waste Water Treatment Systems in Washington County – Renee Biby, Assistant County Grant Administrator.
9. Update from the County Information Technology Department – John Adams, IT Director.
10. Report from the Lester C. Howick Animal Shelter of Washington County – Angela Ledgerwood, Shelter Director.
11. Other Business: Any other business to be discussed by the Committee will be brought up at this time.
12. Public Comments.
13. Adjournment.
