1. Call to Order – Chair Eva Madison
2. Introduction of Committee Members and County Staff. Members of the 2011-12 Committee are: Eva Madison, Micah Neal, Barbara Fitzpatrick, and Mary Ann Spears.
3. General Review of the Responsibilities of the Legislative Affairs Committee. The Committee’s responsibilities are to establish legislative priorities on the State and Federal level, and educate the representatives of the citizens of Washington County in the State and Federal Government of the challenges to Washington County in this time or rapid growth and change.
4. Establishment of Regular Meeting Time. In the previous term, the Legislative Affairs Committee met as needed and often scheduled their meetings following another committee meeting.
5. Update on Legislation in the Quorum Court’s 2011 Legislative Packet, and Other Bills of Interest – County Attorney George Butler.
6. Schedule Next Meeting and Agenda Setting.
7. Other Business. Any other business to be discussed by the Committee will be brought up at this time.
