CEMS Executive Board
Overview: Washington County Regional Ambulance Authority (Central EMS) is a quasi-governmental authority, overseen by a Board of Directors that make up the incorporated cities and the county. Central EMS services 920 square miles of Washington County, serving over 100,000 people.
Mission: To provide the safe and efficient delivery of exceptional patient care with the highest professional and ethical standards, and to be part of the team that innovates and improves emergency services in the community.
Vision: To be the premier high performance, self-supporting and community integrated EMS in Northwest Arkansas.

Purpose: The Executive Committee is a made up of representatives, selected by the Board of Directors. The Committee meets with Central EMS every third Wednesday of the month to oversee the state and direction of the organization. Glenn Morgan became Chair of the Executive Committee in 2019.
Term Length: At discretion of Judge and Quorum Court
Membership: The Central EMS Executive Committee is composed of seven (7) qualified members of the communities Central EMS serves. Two (2) members shall represent Washington County and are appointed by the County Judge and are confirmed by the Quorum Court.
