A G E N D A
1. Call to Order – Chairman John Firmin
2. Adoption of Agenda.
3. Introduction of Committee Members and County Staff. Members of the 2011-2012 Quorum Court County Services Committee are: John Firmin, Gary Carnahan, Eva Madison, Candy Clark, and Rick Cochran.
4. Review of the Responsibilities of the County Services Committee: The responsibilities of the County Services Committee include review of policies concerning delivery of county services to citizens that do not involve construction or infrastructure needs. Services would include planning issues, recording of deeds, records, issuance of permits and licenses, emergency assistance (9-1-1, rural fire protection), and animal control.
5. Establishment of Regular Meeting Time. In the previous term, the County Service Committee met on the Monday, 17 days prior to the regular quorum Court meeting, at 4:45 p.m. in the Quorum Court Room.
6. Overview of the Washington County Planning Office and Monthly Update: County Planning Director Juliet Richey will give an overview of the County’s Planning Office as well as an update on activities of the County Planning Board during the past month.
7. Other Business: Any other business to be discussed by the Committee will be brought up at this time.
8. Public Comments.
