1. Call to Order – Chairman Butch Pond
2. Introduction of Committee Members and County Staff. Members of the 2011-12 Committee are: Butch Pond, Gary Carnahan, Mary Ann Spears, Rex Bailey, and Joe Patterson.
3. General Review of the Responsibilities of the Jail/Law Enforcement/Courts Committee. The Committee’s responsibilities are to discuss and plan for all phases of the current systems with an eye toward the future. This would take into account operating, philosophy, and financing of current and future needs.
4. Establishment of Regular Meeting Time. In the previous term, the Jail/Law Enforcement/Courts Committee met on the Monday, 10 days prior to the Quorum Court meeting, at 4:45 p.m. (immediately following the Personnel Committee meeting) in the Quorum Court Room.
5. Report from the Juvenile Detention Facility.
6. Report from the Sheriff’s Office on Enforcement and Adult Detention.
7. Other Business. Any other business to be discussed by the Committee will be brought up at this time.
8. Public Comment.
9. Adjournment.
