A G E N D A
1. Call to Order.
2. Adoption of Agenda.
3. Financial Report. County Treasurer Roger Haney and County Comptroller Cheryl Bolinger will update the Committee on the monthly financial report.
4. Request for Court Security in the Courthouse Annex and Historic Courthouse. This request has been made by Circuit Judges Taylor and Mason.
5. Request for an Appropriation of $810,992 from General Fund Long-Term Contingencies to the Buildings & Grounds Budget for 2011. This appropriation is for the Juvenile Detention Center add-on construction project. It is being recommended by the Jail/Law Enforcement/Courts Committee.
6. A Resolution Endorsing The Participation Of Dixie-Southern Arkansas In The Sales And Use Tax Refund Program Authorized By The Consolidated Incentive Act Of 2003 And Ark. Code Ann. §15-4-2706(D). This resolution is being recommended by the Springdale Chamber of Commerce.
7. Request to Recognize and Appropriate Revenues of $13,433 to the Civil Defense Budget for 2011. The County has received insurance reimbursement for lightening damage to three communication towers in August.
8. Review of an Ordinance Reducing Full-time Salary Line Items in Various County Budgets and Restoring Those Funds to Unappropriated Reserves for 2011. The 2011 Budget Controls state that surplus personnel appropriations shall be de-appropriated from Full-time Salaries on a quarterly basis (April/July/October).
9. Request for an Amendment to the 2011 Budget Controls Regarding Longevity Pay. This request is being made by Comptroller Cheryl Bolinger. Amendments to the Budget Controls require action by the full Quorum Court.
10. Request to Recognize and Appropriate Monies in the General and Drug Enforcement-Federal Funds for 2011. These are the 3rd quarter monies received from drug seizure/forfeitures in Washington County, Sheriff’s Work Release Program, and the Spay/Neuter Program.
11. Request from the County Library Board for an Appropriation from the County Library Fund and the Transfer of Monies Within the County Library Budget. County Library Director Glenda Audrain will be in attendance to present this request.
12. Other Business. Any other business to be discussed by the Committee will be brought up at this time.
