A G E N D A

1.   Call to Order.

2.   Adoption of Agenda.

3.   Financial Report.   County Treasurer Roger Haney and County Comptroller Cheryl Bolinger will update the Committee on the monthly financial report.

4.   Review of Washington County’s Legislative Audit for the Year 2009.   The Quorum Court will need to acknowledge receipt of the Audit and the responses.

5.   Review of an Ordinance Reducing Full-time Salary Line Items in Various County Budgets and Restoring Those Funds to Unappropriated Reserves for 2011.   The 2010 Budget Controls state that surplus personnel appropriations shall be de-appropriated from Full-time Salaries on a quarterly basis (April/July/October).  These surplus funds shall be restored to unappropriated reserves except in the General Fund where the surplus funds shall be restored to short-term contingencies.

6.   Request to Recognize and Appropriate Monies in the General, Drug Enforcement-State, Drug Enforcement-Federal, and Boating Safety Funds for 2011.   These are the 2nd quarter monies received from drug seizure/forfeitures in Washington County, Boating Safety, Sheriff’s Work Release Program, and the Spay/Neuter Program.

7.   Report from County Grant Administrator Wayne Blankenship on Grants Awarded to the County and Related Appropriation Requests and Resolutions Needed for Submission of Grant Applications: 

      An Ordinance Recognizing And Appropriating The Amount Of $10,200 In The General Fund For The DEM Radio System Budget For 2011.

       An Ordinance Anticipating Additional Revenues Of $117,300 In The High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Grant Fund; And Appropriating $117,300 From The HIDTA Grant Fund To The HIDTA Grant G11GC0004A Budget For 2011.

8.   Appropriation Request in the Amount of $5,143 from General Fund Contingencies to the Quorum Court Budget for the Purchase Computer Equipment.   This request is needed to replace the desktop used by the Quorum Court Coordinator and the laptops in the Quorum Court Room.

9.   Appropriation Request in the Amount of $142,000 from General Fund Contingencies to the Buildings & Grounds Budget for the Purchase of Security System for the Juvenile Justice Center.   This request is being brought to the Committee by JDC Director Jean E. Mack.

10.   Appropriation Request in the Amount of $638,500 from General Fund Contingencies for Information Technology Needs in the County.   IT Director John Adams will review this request with the Committee.

11.   Other Business.   Any other business to be discussed by the Committee will be brought up at this time.

12.   Citizen Comments.

13.   Adjournment.
