A G E N D A

1.     Call to Order.

2.     Adoption of Agenda.

3.     Financial Report. County Treasurer Roger Haney and County Comptroller Cheryl Bolinger will update the Committee on the monthly financial report.

4.     Review of Washington County’s Legislative Audit for the Year 2010. The Quorum Court has received copies of the 2010 Audit. The Quorum Court will need to acknowledge its and the responses.

5.     An Emergency Ordinance Directing The County Treasurer To Distribute Funds Received Pursuant To Act 799 Of 2003, Currently Being Held In The Common School Fund. Act 799 of 2003 and Act 893 of 2005 (A.C.A. §6-16-1101) established a fund to be distributed to schools and conservation districts that have programs that qualify for fish and wildlife conservation education. These revenues are generated from fines, fees and costs arising out of convictions of persons violating State laws protecting game, fish and wildlife. Washington County has received $10,493.12 for 2011. Applications from the various school districts have been received and a recommendation by County Grant Administrator Wayne Blankenship for the allocation of these funds is ready for consideration by the Committee.

6.     Report from County Grant Administrator Wayne Blankenship on Grants Awarded to the County and Related Appropriation Requests and Resolutions Needed for the Submission of Grant Applications

        • A Resolution Authorizing the Submittal of a Grant Application to the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management.

7.    An Ordinance Transferring Monies In The Amount Of $77,600 Within The Buildings & Grounds Budget For 2012. This request is to pay for the cost of new carpeting on the 4th floor of the County Courthouse.

8.    An Ordinance Recognizing and Appropriating Additional Revenue of $10,000 in the Adult Drug Court Fund for 2012. The Adult Drug Court has received a $10,000 donation from the City of Fayetteville.

9.    An Ordinance Recognizing And Appropriating Carryover Revenues In The Drug Enforcement-State And Drug Enforcement-Federal Funds For 2012. This is being brought to the Committee by the County Comptroller.

10.  Other Business. Any other business to be discussed by the Committee will be brought up at this time.

11.  Citizen Comments.
