Election Commission Meeting

The Washington County Election Commission will meet on Wednesday, November 3rd at 1:00 p.m. in Room 115 of the Washington County Courthouse.

The purpose of the meeting will be:

1. Approval of the Minutes from the Previous Meetings

2. Senate District 7 Vacancy

a. Governor’s Proclamation
b. December 14, 2021 Primary
i. Filing Period
ii. Ballot Draw
iii. Ballot Approval
iv. Vote Center Locations
v. Provisional Ballot Hearing Date
vi. Certification Date
c. January 11, 2022 Primary Run-Off
d. February 8, 2022 General Election

3. City of Fayetteville Special Election 
a. City Council will meet on November 2nd to make decision to appoint or call for a Special Election

4. Approval of School Zone Maps

5. Review of Justice of the Peace District Maps (If available)

6. Set Meeting Dates for:

a. Review of JP District Maps
b. Senate District 7 Vacancy Election Meetings

7. Other Business

Physical Access to the meeting: 

If you do not have access to a computer, because of space the Election Commission will need to limit the amount of people who can participate or view the meeting in Room 115 of the Washington County Courthouse.
