Election Commission Meeting

The Washington County Election Commission will meet at 9:30 a.m.  in Room 115 on Thursday, December 9th.

 The purpose of the meeting will be:

1. Approval of the Minutes from the Previous Meeting

2. Map Approval for the Decennium Redistricting of Quorum Court Districts ( JP Districts Map 9)

3. Polling Locations for the January 11, 2021 Special Primary Election Run-Off

4. Notice of Election for the February 8, 2022 City of Fayetteville Special Election

a. Polling Locations will be the same for the February 8, 2022 Senate District 7 General Election
b. Absentee Canvassing 
c. Election Canvassing

5. Upcoming Meetings

a. Meeting: December 14, 2021 @ 7:00 p.m. in Room 115 
b. Depending on Provisional Ballots and Run-Off the Commission may decide to meet on Thursday, December 16th for Provisional Ballot Review/ Ballot Approval
c. Meeting:  December 17, 2021 @ 1:00  for Certification if there are no Provisional Ballots/ Ballot Approval
d. Meeting: December 22, 2021 @ 1:00 for Provisional Ballot Hearing/ Certification/ L&A Certification for the January 11, 2022 Run-Off
e. Meeting: December 28, 2021: TBD if L&A Certification is not complete by December 22nd
f. Meeting: January 11, 2022 @ 7:00 p.m. in Room 115 Election Day for Run-Off
g. Meeting: January 18, 2022: Ballot Draw and Ballot Approval for the February 8, 2022 General Senate District 7
h. Possible Certification of the January 11, 2022 Election: Meeting:  January 21, 2022
i. Possible Certification of the January 11, 2022 Election: Meeting: January 25, 2022
j. February 1, 2022 Election Commissioner Training

Physical Access to the meeting: 

If you do not have access to a computer, because of space the Election Commission will need to limit the amount of people who can participate or view the meeting in Room 115 of the Washington County Courthouse.
