Election Commission Meeting/ Election Day

June 21, 2022 Republican Primary Runoff

Election Day:  Polls open from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM

Absentee ballot outer envelopes, voter statements and applications will be opened and processed in Room 115 of the Washington County Courthouse beginning on June 15, 2022 and continuing until June 20, 2022.  Hours 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Absentee inner ballot secrecy envelopes will be opened on Election Day (June 21) at 9:00 a.m. in Room 115 of the Washington County Courthouse.  The absentee and early ballots will be tabulated beginning at 9:00 a.m. in Room 115 of the Washington County Courthouse. Results will not be released until after the polls close at 7:30 p.m.  A.C.A. § §7-5-416(a) (5) (d).

Absentee Ballots will be counted/tabulated in the Quorum Courtroom of the Washington County Courthouse at 6:30, results will not be released until after 7:30 p.m.

Early Vote Ballots will be counted/tabulated in the Quorum Courtroom of the Washington County Courthouse.  Results will not be released until after 7:30 p.m.

Election Day Ballots will be counted/tabulated in the Quorum Courtroom of the Washington County Courthouse after the polls close at 7:30 p.m.

The Election Commission will meet at 7:00 p.m. in the Quorum Courtroom of the Washington County Courthouse.

The Commission will:

  • Review Absentee Provisional Ballots
  • Review Absentee Rejected Ballots
  • Tabulate Absentee Votes ( after 7:30 p.m.)
  • Tabulate Early Votes ( after 7:30 p.m.)
  • Tabulate Election Votes ( after polls close)
  • Release Unofficial Election Results
