- Election Officials will began opening and canvassing Absentee Ballots at 11:00 a.m. until complete.
- The Election Commission will meet at 7:00 p.m. for Election Night procedures.
- Election Officials will begin counting the Absentee Ballots. This will include the remake (if needed) and review (if needed) of any rejected Absentee Ballots. No results will be tabulated until the polls close at 7:30 p.m.
- Election Officials will tabulate Absentee and Early Votes after the polls close at 7:30.Unofficial results will be released and posted to the Election Commission’s website.

The Election Commission will meet on November 15th at 1:00 p.m. to review any provisional ballots cast for the November 14, 2023 City of Fayetteville Special Election and/or to approve ballots and sign Notice of Election for a December 12, 2023 Run Off Election if required.
