Court Records illustrate Washington County's legal history. Beginning with 1829, they contain information on civil and criminal cases, as well as divorces, property disputes, and disputes involving the estates of deceased individuals. Court Records also include Will Records, which begin in 1829, and Naturalization Records which were filed through the Circuit Court until 1934. Original indices are found at the front of each book. At this time, archived court records are not available online. We currently have the following Court Records:
