Quorum Court Committees

• County Services

  Review policies concerning delivery of county services to citizens that do not involve construction or infrastructure needs.

• Jail/Law Enforcement/Courts

  Discuss and plan for all phases of the current systems with an eye toward the future. This would take into account operating, philosophy, and financing of current and future needs.

• Ordinance Review

  Review and make recommendations regarding revisions to the Washington County Code of Ordinances in consultation with the County Attorney.

• Personnel

  Review and make recommendations regarding the development of a comprehensive personnel system for Washington County. This includes salary levels, policies, affirmative action review, employee insurance, fringe benefits, and travel policies.

• Public Works

  Review maintenance and expansion of the County’s infrastructure to meet the needs of the County’s growth. County Judge will keep Committee informed on road and county bridge development.

• Finance & Budget

Review and make recommendations on the financial condition of the County, to include appropriation, fiscal control, audit review, and monitoring of expenditures.
