Washington County Environmental Affairs Office would like to announce a new location for picking up sharps disposal containers.

The Wal-Mart on Elm Springs Road in Springdale is the newest location to participate in the medical sharps disposal program. This program is for Washington County residents to safely dispose of medical sharps used for precscription injections at home. Empty disposal containers can be picked up at the store after they open on August 13th.
