Recycling Details
Containers
- Aluminum cans - Rinse
- Steel cans - Rinse and remove food residue. Place lid inside can.
- Glass bottles & jars - Rinse and remove lids. No drinking glasses, dishes, Pyrex, light bulbs, or window glass.
- Plastic bottles & jugs - Rinse. No need to remove lids.
- Neck must be smaller than bottom of container.
- #1 and #2 plastics only - includes soda and water bottles, peanut butter jars, milk and water jugs, detergent containers, and shampoo bottles
- No margarine, yogurt, or other tubs
Paper
- Mixed paper and magazines - May be loose or in paper bags.
- No paper plates or cups
- No milk or juice cartons
- No frozen food containers
- No plastic egg cartons
- Newspaper - May be loose or in paper bags.
- Paperboard (Chipboard) - Includes cereal and shoe boxes
Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off
